They have been a proud distributor of Wittek for the past 16 years. “They’ve been in business since 1946 and have a great reputation for being there for the customer,” says Proctor. “They build one of the best ball washers and pickers on the market.” Proctor says that because of the turning radius on pickers a lot of stress is put on the first and last discs which can result in breakage. Wittek recognized that problem 10 years ago and changed the plastic discs to solid rubber tires which solved the problem, at least on their pickers. “The wear and tear on their articulating elbows is also far superior to other brands,” says Proctor. “They’ve also come out with a ball washer called The Twist and we’ve sold 21 of them in the last two years and we haven’t had calls about replacing parts on any of them.”
